“I’ve worked with Larry Johns for nearly two decades – whether launching a new chapter based banquet initiative, developing print/ digital communications, building a membership base, or fundraising, Larry has “been there and done that” with a proven track record of success and style.

Larry has been, and always will be, a part of my organizational team…he should be part of yours as well.”

"Larry Johns is a dedicated, results oriented and hard working leader in the conservationist arena - he is one of the best."

“Larry is very personable and has an ability to learn new things quickly. He asks thoughtful questions in order to increase his understanding, or to enable others to grasp the concepts he is presenting. I enjoyed working with Larry on his project and would be happy to do so again on another project.”

For over three years I was the Director of Operations for Weatherby Foundation International. I was also in charge of the Annual fundraiser. It was a black-tie dinner. To put it in perspective, the 2011 Gala had over 600 attendees.
Larry Johns has been a key player in the success of that fundraiser for as long as I have been involved. He organized the financials and the donation items the night of the banquet. Before the banquet, Larry gave me important information that made everything run smoothly and efficiently. I don’t know what I would’ve done without his help and expertise.
Larry has an enormous amount of practical experience through his volunteering. I definitely would (and will) employ him for my next fundraiser!

I first met Larry Johns, when he was starting the Sutter Buttes Chapter September 2005. Since that time I have worked with Larry over the past six years as he served as chapter president of the SCI Sutter Buttes Chapter. During that time Larry was one of the most responsible presidents that I have worked with over those six years. When it was time for the chapters 990 to be sent to the IRS and SCI Tucson office it was done on time. He was always the first one to complete the SCI Annual report for each chapter. Each chapter was required to send SCI headquarters 30% of the chapters net revenue for their fundraiser, Larry made sure his was one of the first in.

Sutter Buttes had their fundraiser in April of this year. I was fortunate enough to attend the event and observe how the event turned out. Larry did and impeccable job as fundraiser chair. The evening’s program was one of the best I have seen this year out of the 21 fundraisers attended. Most events do not have table decorations, the decorations were the best I have seen over the past six years attending fundraisers. Larry hired some of the best Raffle ladies to sell raffle tickets and sell the games that were lined up for the event. There was a very good mix and the right number of live auction items that night. The silent auction and bucket raffles had great items for the guest to bid on and purchase raffle tickets.

I can strongly recommend Larry and his staff to put together on outstanding package for an extraordinary and unique fundraiser. He will put together an excellent marketing plan for the fundraiser. If you would like to see a copy of the banquet report I can send it to you by request.

A reputation is a fragile thing. It must be created with consistent actions over a very long time. If you are looking for someone to help point your non-profit in the right direction, Larry Johns has reputation you are looking for.

We have had the pleasure of providing audio/video support for Larry at some of his larger Safari Club fundraisers. We have supported many events over the last decade and Larry’s were among the most successful and stress free.

We know the tremendous effort it takes to organize large fund-raisers and credit Larry for taking the initiative and responsibility to make sure his events are flawless.

His attendees always have a great time and the organization raises considerable funds. Not many people are willing to put in the effort Larry does when it comes to the countless details required for a successful fundraiser. Larry is the rare individual who will not only take responsibility, but follow-through to make sure every detail is correct. While many smart organizations will hire him to help increase the efficacy of their fundraising, forward-thinking organizations will look to him as a complete consultant, able to draw upon his many years of experience to assist your group at many levels.

We believe in Larry enough that we have put our reputation on the line and recommended him to many of our non-profit clients. We do not do this lightly. A reputation is a fragile thing.
